VFW POST 1325
PENINSULA PEP POST
PORTLAND, OREGON
VFW Post 1325 is an association of United States military veterans located in north Portland, Oregon. It is one of approximately 5,900 VFW Posts comprising over 1 million members across the country. Formed on February 18, 1925, the Post is nicknamed the "Peninsula PEP Post" due to its location on the northern peninsula of Portland, and in recognition of its founding members who were mostly employees of Portland Electric Power, the company now known as Portland General Electric.
The Post is part of District 3 of the VFW Department of Oregon.
We are a group of veterans helping other veterans and our community. We provide camaraderie to fellow veterans and we sponsor and support a multitude of community events as our member-veterans continue to serve their country and community and promote patriotism.
MEETINGS & EVENTS
We normally meet twice every month and participate in numerous other events throughout the year. The regular monthly meetings include a business meeting on the first Tuesday of every month and a social meeting on the third Tuesday of every month. These are important opportunities to enjoy camaraderie with other veterans.
